This one was a bit personal for us as Sean had been an avid cyclist for years (preferring pavement and a fixed gear however, mostly due to an intense fear of breaking even more bones on dirt trails).
But, we couldn’t get too excited – there was work to be done! And serious work it was. With Emily's rather prestigious group of sponsors (Red Bull, Trek Bikes, Porsche, PFAFF Auto Group, lululemon, Oakley) great care had to be taken to ensure that each of their brand standards were met. Yes, we were sweating.
Brand Narrative
At HCE, we reimagine and redefine the implementation of critical network infrastructure for the benefit of communities and stakeholders alike.
We seek to drive change and thought leadership, transforming the traditional approach to production, consumption and data delivery for the next generation of smart city infrastructure.
Our adventure is fuelled by one purpose: to envision, design, implement and operate critical infrastructure and networks through a smarter portfolio of integrated technologies. Our approach is backed by the confidence that stems from years of experience and community insights acquired by way of municipal-based ownership.
By turning status quo infrastructure on its head, we can explore boundless opportunities to leverage and connect the world around us.
We do this by breaking down the barriers of historical industry methods, uncovering the innovations and solutions that take communities from operational to optimal. We reimagine the future of our urban environments so that together, we can ensure tomorrow’s cities not only work, but thrive utilizing resilient rapid technology development and transformation. Lastly, we effectively deploy technologies that integrate energy into land use planning by way of efficient and effective usage of data; improving the environmental performance of buildings, waste and water systems; and by maximizing integrations with electric and thermal delivery systems.
Our focus is unwavering – in community we find strength.
WordPress was utilized for this build to ensure ease of management moving forward for Emily and her team. Fully responsive design was also a requirement, not because it had become an industry standard at that time (which it had), but because like Emily, many of her supporters and fans are constantly on the go!
What good is a way to keep in touch with those following your progress, when you can’t even reach them properly?
That was a redundant question ladies and gents… it’s no good at all.
